This are lot of reasons why MySpace are different than Facebook users. True, there are MySpace users who have moved to Facebook. MySpace now owns 110 million monthly active users across the globe. Nearly 85% of MySpace users are of voting age (18 or older).  Users of MySpace who get a link to a video and press the Play button may have just agreed to install adware from 180solutions Zango.

In myspace not only one can add friends, send comments and emails, but there are advanced database that can store information about ANY user. The most were real users who login. There are perhaps adult MySpace users and only myspace know the demographics.

Too Many Social Networking Sites

With so many social networking sites nowadays, it is sometimes difficult to identify which among them works for you. Most of them have distinct advantages and disadvantages, and it is up to you to identify which one will work for your particular needs. The features of each are sometimes overwhelming that you would want to register on all these sites. Although sometimes it becomes too cluttered with too much junk and too much information on your profile, like in Myspace profiles. Different links can be online casino, theme options, or other sites which sometimes just make your profile look so cluttered. This is the reason why sometimes visitors to Myspace sites are discouraged because it takes time to load the profile pages. I think there is a lot of improvement that can be done by the developer here. A lot of things should be considered and revamped, because nowadays, users opt for clean, uncluttered and more professional looking profiles. Aside from being user friendly and eas

Facebook Pages Are Fast Becoming Essential for Business

Do you have a Facebook Page for your business? I've had one for a couple years but only in the last year has it really taken off. With 400 million users, it's a force that cannot be ignored. That's where people are hanging out -- even in the demographic you serve, I'll bet. Heck, my 101 year old great aunt uses Facebook to keep up with her large extended family! I read an article on Web Pro News that supports why you must have a page - Google Makes Facebook Pages a Priority for Businesses.Google announced via Twitter this week, that public status updates from Facebook are now included in the search engine's real-time search feature. That means the largest social network in the world is getting play in Google's real-time search alongside Twitter, MySpace, and others, and these real-time results are often featured prominently on the first page of search results for the hottest queries. Content in Page updates is indexed by Google. Content on Profiles is not. I

Make No Mistake: Internet Content Subscription Models will come!

Image via CrunchBase Why do Internet users continually resist paid content on a systematic basis? Keep in mind that many current Internet business models were built on the premise, (create the content and they will come). We have all seen the sterling examples of this model with Google, Facebook, MySpace, Hulu, YouTube, along with a host of others, including news organizations betting on ad supported revenues to make a profit. While this model worked for some businesses, it has not for others. Relying solely on ad supported revenues is a weak model, as the Broadcast TV Industry found out the hard way. Historically, news organizations relied heavily on paper subscription models supplemented with ad revenues to make their profits. Linear TV models like CNN and Fox News relied heavily on the Cable Industry’s monthly subscription models while being supplemented with ad revenues. These amounted to dual and re-occurring revenue stream models, realizing the best of revenue worlds, su
